This limited edition 112 pg book (measures 6x9) celebrates a decade of memories and collaboration between JDK, HG and Iskra Print Collective. 121 posters, 49 designers, 102 bands, 135 nights.
The book, designed by JDK, encompasses much more than just a flat presentation of the artwork. The book features tributes by the bands themselves, comments by the designer on their inspiration, alternate designs that ended up on the silkscreen room floor, and photography from the shows themselves.
In keeping with the tradition of the posters that this book showcases, the cover of the book is hand silk-screened and numbered. The name of the book is "1 of 1500" but you may receive "47 of 1500," or "1214 of 1500." We cannot guarantee what number you'll receive, every book is one of a kind.
The artists represented cover a wide spectrum of some of today’s most vital artists, including My Morning Jacket, Feist, Beth Orton, Ween, The Dresden Dolls, Interpol, Neko Case, Sonic Youth, Bright Eyes, Cat Power, Yo La Tengo, Kings of Leon, Damien Rice, Rilo Kiley, Of Montreal, The Decemberists, Ryan Adams, and many more.
